How we work together
What happens, when, and what I need from you.
- First contact
Write to me or book a 20-minute call. Tell me about the project: format, running time, shooting and delivery dates, where it will be broadcast or screened.
- Quote
I send a proposal listing the stages included and the number of revisions.
- Pre-production
If I'm also on set, we plan equipment, locations and delivery specs together.
- On set
I record production sound with the edit and mix in mind.
- Post-production
Send me the locked cut with picture reference and AAF. I work on dialogue, sound design, Foley and mixing.
- Reviews
In the studio with me, or remotely: you hear the mix in real time wherever you are.
- Delivery
Files to the broadcaster's, platform's or festival's specs: stereo, 5.1 or Dolby Atmos, stems, M&E.

Frequently asked questions
Can I hire you for just one stage?
Of course. Many projects come to me just for the mix or just for sound design.
Do you work outside Emilia-Romagna?
Yes. Post-production works remotely too, and I travel for production sound.
How much does it cost?
It depends on running time, format and deliverables, so I quote each project. I also work with short films and low-budget independent productions.
What do you need to start post?
The locked cut with picture reference, an AAF or OMF with the production audio, the music and the delivery specs.
With today's AI tools, do I still need a sound professional?
For a video watched on a phone, sometimes they are enough. But content that has to sound right on every device, pass a broadcaster's technical checks or hold up on a cinema system needs someone who knows what to listen for. I use AI tools every day too: they help, but they don't make the decisions.
Do you have experience with broadcaster deliveries?
Yes: I have delivered for Sky, Rai and Mediaset for years, as well as for Netflix and Prime Video.
